John Crimber Leads By 128.83 Points After Fort Worth Ride
john crimber recorded his second qualified ride of the 2026 PBR World Finals on Saturday night in Fort Worth, Texas, riding Icky Thump for 84.95 points. The ride left him 128.83 points ahead of Brady Fielder in the gold buckle race heading into Championship Sunday.
Fort Worth Ride
Crimber entered Saturday night as the No. 1 rider in the world title race and kept that position after his 84.95-point effort. He said on the Paramount+ telecast, "I’m behind in the average, so I was very thankful to get by. He’s kind of a tough bull to ride and I’m just happy to be here, blessed. I’m just going to leave it all in God’s hands".
He added, "This is what I live for right here, moments like this, and I’m just so blessed to be back here with my buddies. Them supporting me, it’s a different feeling when they’re back there. I can hear their voices. It’s like I can go wrestle a bear if I need to. I love it."
Brady Fielder Round 7
Fielder stayed in the race after riding Turning Point for 86.60 points in Round 7 and improved to 4-for-7 in the event. His score still left him trailing Crimber by 128.83 points after Round 7, a gap that makes every remaining ride count in the title chase.
The round also produced a few swings around the standings. Hudson Bolton rode Vindicated for 86.65 points and advanced to a perfect 7-for-7, while Michael Lane won Round 7 with an 89.50-point ride aboard Let’s Roll for the first premier series round win of his 18-year career.

Bolton said on the Paramount+ telecast, "The fans out here make you ride better when they cheer this good. I’m just grateful for God and I’ve got to give Him all of the glory and the praise". He also said, "I told Kate Harrison a couple weeks back my goal was to ride all of my bulls and as long as I accomplish my goal, it’ll all work out."
The round included exits for Sage Steele Kimzey, who was bucked off Smooth Violation 2.55 seconds into his attempt, and Leandro Zampollo, who was bucked off Heavy Load in 4.63 seconds. Alex Cerqueira rode Semi Sober for 75.65 points and declined a re-ride attempt to keep his third conversion of the weekend, while Marco Rizzo and Maverick Smith both failed to go the distance and Rizzo stayed 31 points ahead of Smith in the rookie of the year race.
