Beatrice and Eugenie to attend Peter Phillips wedding — The Sun Newspaper
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are set to join their royal relatives at Peter Phillips' wedding on June 6, with the sun newspaper reporting that both sisters have been invited to the ceremony. The appearance would place them back with the family in public for the first time since the Epstein files were released and their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested.
A source said the King had always wanted his nieces to remain part of the family. Another source said: "The Royal Family needs good news and nothing unites like a big church wedding."
Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling
Phillips will marry Harriet Sperling in a private ceremony at All Saints Church in Cirencester. The church was chosen because it is close to Gatcombe Park, where Anne, the Princess Royal, has lived for 50 years and where Phillips and Sperling also live.
Beatrice is going and Eugenie is in the second trimester of her pregnancy but hopes to attend, according to a source. Eugenie announced her third pregnancy this month and returned to social media just hours before the baby news was made public.
April royal gathering
The sisters have kept a low profile since the Epstein files revealed that their parents' links to Jeffrey Epstein ran longer and deeper than first thought. They were excluded from a major royal gathering in April to mark the centenary of Queen Elizabeth II's birth, and they have not visited their father since his exile to Sandringham and arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
No charges have been laid against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has always denied any wrongdoing. Their expected attendance at the wedding would mark a public return to the family fold after months away from royal events.
