Arsenal Supporters Await Emirates Approval for 37,000 Screening Arsenal Match Today Live
Arsenal supporters are waiting for final approval for a planned Emirates Stadium screening of the Champions League final, with arsenal match today live interest centered on when tickets will actually go on sale. Sales are expected to begin later on 18 May or on 19 May, and the event is set to welcome around 37,000 supporters.
Emirates Stadium screening plans
The screening is for Arsenal’s final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest, giving supporters a place to watch a match many could not get into through the limited UEFA allocation. The Arsenal Supporters’ Trust said the club is waiting for approval from the relevant authorities before tickets are released.
That delay is the main friction point for fans trying to plan. The club has already mapped out who gets first access if the screening is cleared, but the sale window still depends on the approval coming through in time for 18 May.
Ticket priority at Arsenal
Season ticket holders who were unsuccessful in securing tickets for Budapest are set to receive first priority, along with Junior Gunners members. Silver members would follow, and any remaining allocation would then be offered to Red members.
Arsenal supporters were also told there will be no ticket transfer option for the screening, and they were urged not to buy unless they are definitely able to attend themselves. That leaves the first priority groups with the clearest path to the seats, while everyone else waits on how much of the 37,000-capacity event remains by the time sales reach them.
Arsenal since 2006
The club is preparing for its first Champions League final since 2006, which is why the Emirates screening has become such a major outlet for fans who missed out on Budapest. If the approval arrives in time, the stadium event gives those supporters a direct alternative to a trip they could not secure through UEFA’s limited allocation.
