KFC Brings Back Fried Pickles, Adds $5 Kfc Fried Pickles Return Deals

KFC fried pickles return nationwide on May 18, 2026, with the chain bringing back the side in an eight-piece order at restaurants across the country. The limited-time lineup also adds new sauce options, a new lemonade, and digital-only snack box combinations built around the item.

Melissa Cash, KFC U.S. chief marketing officer, said, “The pickle craze is here to stay,” and added, “The response to our fried pickles last summer proved that demand is still strong.” She said, “We're building on that momentum by bringing them back to our menu.”

Melissa Cash and the menu return

KFC said the fried pickles are served golden fried with a choice of dipping sauce. The new sauce options are Jalapeño Ranch and Honey Chili Crisp, giving customers a different pairing than the standard order.

Cash also said, “This time, fans can pair their fried pickles with our bold new sauces and a refreshing lemonade.” She described the lineup as “a craveable lineup of savory, spicy and cool flavors, all built around that signature crunch they can't get enough of.”

KFC Nationwide Menu Additions

The company also introduced a limited-time Signature Prickly Pear Lemonade, which blends KFC's Signature Lemonade with the sweet flavor of prickly pear cactus. Alongside the drink, KFC launched two new digital-exclusive snack box combinations built around the fried pickles.

For Rewards Members, the company added a limited-time offer of five tenders and two dipping sauces for $5. KFC also launched a $5 Chicken Variety Box that includes two pieces of chicken, five nuggets, a dipping sauce, and a drink.

The promotion gives customers a short window to order the returning side with the new sauces, drink, and meal deals that KFC tied to the comeback. For anyone visiting this month, the practical change is simple: fried pickles are back, and the menu around them is broader than before.
