Tyler Hubbard Flirts With Florida Georgia Line Shows Next Year
Tyler Hubbard says florida georgia line is flirting with a handful of shows next year, a step that would put the duo back onstage after its 2022 break. He floated the idea while speaking on the red carpet at the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, and he said the conversation has stayed at the level of planning, not booking.

“But we have been toying around and flirting with the idea of playing a handful of shows next year,” Hubbard said in his interview with Cassie DiLaura. He also said, “the idea of playing shows together sounds like a lot of fun,” which is the clearest signal yet that the door is open for a limited reunion run rather than a full comeback.
That lines up with the way Hubbard has described his recent time with Brian Kelley: “No, to be honest, we’ve had a blast. It’s been a really fun season of healing, like you said, and we’ve been hanging out, laughing, cutting up, goofing around, and it just feels like the old days.” He also used the shorter version of that thought: “it’s been a really fun season of healing.”
From 2012 to 2022
Florida Georgia Line launched its career with a debut record in 2012, then announced in February 2022 that it was taking a break as a duo so both artists could pursue solo projects. The pair played their final show in August 2022, which makes any return, even for a handful of dates, a meaningful shift from the break that followed.
Since then, Hubbard, Kelley and their wives have shared photos together on social media, which helped fuel the reunion talk. Hubbard brushed off the speculation with one line: “Yeah, one photo and the world thinks you’re back on tour automatically.”
Solo plans and a beach trip
Hubbard said there is no new Florida Georgia Line music on the way right now, and he is busy with solo work. His newest song, Land, is due to arrive on Friday, May 22, and he said he is also looking ahead to performance dates including Dan + Shay’s fall headlining tour.
He said he was leaving Las Vegas and flying to the beach to hang out with Kelley and their wives, which leaves the reunion talk in the same place his comments put it: a real possibility, but only for a limited number of shows if the two decide to move past flirting and into dates.
