Jordan Dawson Polls 10 Votes in Kuwarna’s 68-Point Win

Jordan Dawson polled a perfect 10 AFLCA Coaches’ votes after driving Kuwarna’s 68-point win over North Melbourne on Saturday. The Kuwarna skipper finished with 24 disposals, nine score involvements and six marks, plus a long-range goal, as his Round 10 outing drew maximum recognition from the coaches.

Dawson Leads the Vote Count

The perfect 10 put Dawson at the center of a Kuwarna sweep across the coaches’ ballot. Seven players from the side received votes after the big win, with Dawson the clear standout in a result that left North Melbourne 68 points behind.

His numbers show why he took the top share. He was involved in nine scoring chains, found the ball 24 times and added six marks, while the long-range goal gave the performance one more clear marker in a lopsided match.

Rankine and Rachele Add Support

Izak Rankine was next best in the voting with seven, backing up the result with 28 disposals, 10 clearances, eight score involvements and a goal. Josh Rachele collected four votes of his own after kicking three goals, adding 18 disposals and eight score involvements.

Rory Laird also received four votes after 25 disposals and seven marks, while Lachlan McAndrew earned three for a direct ruck battle against Tristan Xerri. McAndrew finished with two goals, 19 hit-outs and six tackles.

Seven Kuwarna Players Voted

James Peatling and Josh Worrell rounded out the vote-getters with one vote each. Peatling posted 22 disposals and six tackles, while Worrell finished with 24 disposals and five marks.

The spread across seven players shows how heavily Kuwarna controlled the match and how the coaches split their recognition across every line. Dawson still separated himself from the rest, and his perfect 10 leaves him as the clear headline from Round 10’s coaches’ votes.
