Max Crosby Drops "Double R" as Raiders Run Continues
max crosby released a new song titled "Double R" on Friday, adding another track to a music run that has moved alongside his Raiders career. The five-time Pro Bowler is set to enter his eighth season with Las Vegas instead of being traded away.
Crosby’s Friday release
Crosby shared a music video for "Double R" on YouTube and X. The release keeps his offseason output moving after he had already dropped "2AM in Vegas" on April 23 and "PlaqueBoy Maxx" on May 8.
He also teased a debut EP in July 2025, and the new single fits the pattern of a player using the offseason to build a separate public lane without stepping away from football. For a Raiders pass-rusher coming off a 2025 season with 73 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 10 sacks, the music has not replaced the production.
Raiders keep Crosby
The path to Friday’s release was not straightforward. On March 6, the Raiders agreed to trade Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for two first-round draft picks, but Baltimore backed out of the transaction four days later.
That failed move left Crosby in Las Vegas, where he will enter his eighth season as the Raiders also move forward with Fernando Mendoza, the Indiana quarterback selected No. 1 overall in the 2026 NFL draft. The roster picture changed around him, but Crosby’s place in it did not.
Friday’s song drop gives Raiders followers a clear sign of what the offseason looks like around one of the franchise’s most visible players: football remains the job, music keeps expanding the profile, and the next chapter starts with Crosby still in silver and black.
