Lindsie Chrisley Arrested in Concord on DUI Charges — Lindsie Chrisley Dui Charges
Lindsie Chrisley Dui Charges began Saturday night in Concord, Ga., when police arrested the podcaster and former reality TV personality on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was later booked on five counts, including DUI less safe, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said the bail tied to those counts totaled $5,961. Chrisley was released around 4:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
Cherokee County Arrest
The police report said she was pulled over for traveling 86 mph on a surface street. Deputies said she passed multiple suitable stopping locations before pulling into a Chevron station, and the report said her stories did not make sense, her speech was slurred and her breath smelled of alcohol.
Chrisley told the officer she did not know why she had been pulled over, then said it was because she had swerved around another vehicle that had almost hit a deer. She refused field sobriety tests and declined a blood test.
Chrisley's Account
After the arrest, Chrisley told TMZ, "I got pulled over speeding past a car on a two-lane road because they almost hit an animal." She added, "whatever the animal was," and said she was trying to miss that car and the animal.
She also said she planned to fight the charges. No contraband was found in the car.
Family History in 2022
The arrest adds another legal problem for Chrisley, host of The Southern Tea podcast and a former cast member who appeared in 20 episodes of Chrisley Knows Best from 2014 into 2017. Her father, Todd Chrisley, and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022 and imprisoned at separate facilities before President Trump pardoned them in 2025.
Chrisley had also been estranged from her family for years over their suspicion that she had reported them to state and federal officials. The case now leaves her facing five counts after a Saturday night stop that ended with her release early Sunday.
