Jimmy Liao Puts Sofi Stadium No. 1 in 2026 Rankings

SoFi Stadium came out on top in Jimmy Liao’s 2026 NFL stadium rankings. The shared home of the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers beat 10 other venues he had visited in recent years, and the review leaned hard on what visiting fans actually see and use: the interior, the food, and the parking setup.

SoFi Stadium tops Liao’s list

Liao wrote that SoFi Stadium was the nicest stadium he had visited, after ranking 11 stadiums from trips he has made over the last few years. He also said he had been to two Lions games in Los Angeles, one each for the Chargers and Rams, giving him a direct look at the building from both sidelines of its tenant split.

“This stadium clearly stands out as the nicest of all I’ve visited,” Liao wrote in the review. He did not stop at the scorecard-style ranking. He framed the place as the clear class of the group because the experience inside felt different from the typical NFL building he had been comparing it against.

Interior concourses at SoFi

The strongest praise went to the concourses. Liao said the exterior architecture looked as good in person as it does on TV, but the inside is what pushed SoFi over the top. He described the concourses as “ridiculously nice” and said there were many escalators connecting the different sections inside.

He went further in a line that gets at the entire review’s tone: “It’s like you’re walking around a luxury hotel rather than the concrete jungle of typical stadiums.” That observation is the practical takeaway for anyone sizing up a road-game trip there. The building is not just judged on sightlines or the team on the field; the review emphasizes how easy it feels to move around once inside.

Parking near the Forum

Food got similar treatment. Liao called the options plentiful, fancy, and varied, which puts the emphasis on choice rather than the bare-minimum concessions many stadium visitors expect. For fans planning a visit after the full NFL schedule dropped on May 14, that means SoFi is being presented as a destination where the off-field details are part of the draw.

The tougher part of the visit is outside. Liao described the immediate surroundings as barren and said there were no walkable hotels worth staying at near the stadium. He said parking at the nearby Forum was easy and convenient, but it had to be booked in advance. Getting in and out by car was faster than expected, which is useful for road travelers deciding whether to drive or build the trip around another part of Los Angeles.

For visiting fans, the ranking puts SoFi at the top of the 2026 travel conversation, but it also draws a clean line around what works and what does not. The interior experience drew the highest marks, while the surrounding area asked for more planning. That is the tradeoff for anyone heading to one of the NFL’s most polished stadiums without expecting much help from the blocks around it.
