Morrisons Savers Cashew Recall prompts 125g product withdrawal

Morrisons has issued a morrisons savers cashew recall for 125g packs sold in England, Scotland and Wales after the product was found to possibly contain pieces of glass. Customers who bought the cashews were told not to eat them and to return them to the nearest store for a full refund.

The Food Standards Agency said on 26 May 2026 that Morrisons is recalling the above product. The affected packs carry best before dates of August 9, September 6, September 26, September 28 and October 9.

Food Standards Agency notice

The notice said point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling it. Those notices explain why the product is being recalled and tell customers what to do if they have bought it.

For shoppers, the immediate step is straightforward: do not consume the product, and take it back to the nearest store for a full refund. The recall applies only to the 125g Morrisons Savers Cashews named in the notice.

Morrisons statement

Morrisons said no other products are affected by the issue. The company also said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety."

That leaves buyers with a narrow but clear choice. Anyone holding one of the listed packs should return it, while stores post the notice and remove the item from sale.
