Tom Segura Lands Multi-Project Deal With Fox Creator Studios

tom segura’s YMH Studios has entered a multi-project partnership with Fox Creator Studios to develop, finance, and produce original content. The first slate moves into production this year and will reach audiences through YMH’s direct-to-consumer platforms, extending a business model built on creator control and in-house monetization.

YMH’s 500 Million-View Reach

More than 500 million annual impressions across 25 shows give YMH Studios a scale that few creator-led comedy operations can match. Tom Segura said Fox Creator Studios understands that model and brings infrastructure and reach to help expand it in a meaningful way, a practical fit for a company that already produces and distributes premium live events, comedy specials, and exclusive content on its own channels.

Billy Parks, head of Fox Creative Studios at Fox Entertainment, described the move as a partnership with a business that goes beyond a single podcast or stage act. “What Tom and YMH have built goes far beyond podcasting or stand-up,” he said, adding, “They’ve created a true direct-to-consumer entertainment business with a loyal audience, proven monetization, and a repeatable creative engine.”

Seven Specials Since 2014

Seven Netflix comedy specials since 2014 have already made Segura a proven output machine, and that track record now sits beside his role as creator, star, and executive producer of the dark comedy Bad Thoughts on Netflix. The six-episode second season launched on May 24, giving him another current title in market while the new Fox Creator Studios slate begins to take shape.

The initial projects are not limited to one format. The partnership includes a stand-up comedy showcase featuring both established and emerging voices, a horror comedy animated series, and a live-action comedy series set in an airport bar. That mix suggests the deal is built to spread risk across formats while keeping the output inside comedy, where YMH already has an audience and Fox Creator Studios has been launched to develop new formats, IP, and talent through the creator community.

Fox Creator Studios in January 2026

Fox Creator Studios launched in January 2026 as a digital-first division, so this is early proof that the unit is moving quickly from launch into a slate with a recognizable creator brand attached. For Segura, the deal turns a large owned audience into a broader production pipeline. For Fox, it adds a direct-to-consumer comedy business with scale, and it gives both sides a model for building series that do not have to wait for a traditional rollout to find viewers.
