Lnah Governors Expel and Dissolve Pétroliers de Laval

The lnah moved against the Pétroliers de Laval at its annual general meeting. Governors of the member teams voted to expel and dissolve the Laval organization after an indefinite suspension that followed released images.

The league said the new season will begin with seven teams. It also said the actions at issue harmed its image, integrity and traditions.

Pétroliers de Laval Suspended First

The suspension came before the vote. The LNAH said it had immediately sidelined the Pétroliers for an indefinite period after the images were released, then brought the matter to the governors for a decision at the annual general meeting.

The league denounced gestures it judged unacceptable and contrary to its fundamental values. That language set up the vote that ended with expulsion and dissolution, a step that removes Laval from the league structure going into the next season.

Seven Teams Remain For LNAH

The most direct result is a smaller circuit. With Laval out, the league said the new season will open with seven teams, and it will communicate more details about the 2026-2027 LNAH season soon.

For members, the practical shift is already in place: Laval is no longer part of the league’s immediate plans, and the structure for 2026-2027 has been altered before more details are released. The vote leaves the league to move forward with seven clubs and without the organization that had already been suspended.
