Felix Rosenqvist Returns as Detroit Grand Prix 2026 Starts at 12:30 p.m. ET
The detroit grand prix 2026 will start Sunday, May 31, at 12:30 p.m. ET and air on FOX. Felix Rosenqvist is back in action after his Indy 500 victory, giving the weekend a familiar name as INDYCAR moves into downtown Detroit.
FOX Brings Detroit Live
The race will be available live on FOX One, the FOX Sports website and the FOX Sports App, with live-streaming services that carry FOX, FS1 and FS2 including YouTube TV, Sling TV, Hulu + Live TV and fuboTV. For viewers not on site, that puts the full street race on television and streaming without changing the 12:30 p.m. ET start on Sunday, May 31st.
Downtown Detroit Street Circuit
The event runs over three full days of activities and celebrations in some of Detroit's most popular and active downtown areas. Racing takes place on a 1.645-mile, nine-turn street circuit that runs along Jefferson Avenue, Bates Street, Atwater Street, St. Antoine, Franklin Street and Rivard.
That layout gives the Detroit race its own rhythm: the course is built through city streets rather than a permanent track, and the weekend stretches beyond a single green flag. Rosenqvist's return after his Indy 500 victory also gives the event a driver story, even as the broadcast plan stays the same for fans following from home.
