Walmart Canada Adds Crave to Walmart+ on June 4
Walmart Canada will add crave to its subscription offer on Thursday, June 4, 2026, when Delivery Pass automatically becomes Walmart+ at no extra cost. The new plan keeps unlimited free same-day delivery and adds Crave Standard with Ads plus free shipping with no order minimums.
Current Delivery Pass subscribers do not need to do anything. Their accounts will convert automatically, and the monthly or annual pricing will be $8.97 per month or $89 per year.
Walmart+ Pricing Beats Prime
$8.97 per month puts Walmart+ below Amazon Prime in Canada, which costs $9.99 per month or $99 per year. That leaves Walmart Canada with a cheaper subscription while adding a streaming benefit that Canadian members have not had before.
$11.99 per month is the listed price for Crave Standard with Ads, which makes the bundled offer more than a delivery program. For current subscribers, the math is simple: the new membership folds shipping and entertainment into one fee without raising the price they already pay.
From Delivery Pass To Walmart+
Summer 2023 marked the launch of Delivery Pass, which originally offered free next-day delivery with subscriptions. By 2026, the program had evolved to much faster delivery and no minimum shipping requirements, and the shift to Walmart+ aligns the Canadian branding with the U.S. version that debuted in 2020.
That branding change is more than a label swap. The membership now combines grocery and general merchandise delivery with a streaming plan for the first time in Canada, while keeping the no-additional-cost upgrade for existing users on June 4.
Crave Added To Shipping
$35 was the old minimum for shipping, or customers could pay a $7.97 flat fee. Walmart Canada is replacing that hurdle with free shipping and no order minimums, which gives smaller orders the same delivery terms as larger baskets.
For shoppers who already use Delivery Pass, the practical move is to keep the account active and let the conversion happen on Thursday. After that, the subscription should cover same-day delivery, free shipping without a minimum, and access to Crave Standard with Ads under one Walmart+ payment.
