Knicks Watch Party Spurs Long Island Restaurants Into June 3 NBA Finals Plans
Long Island restaurants are rolling out knicks watch party events for the Knicks’ first NBA Finals trip since 1999, giving fans places to gather for Game 1 on June 3. The lineup runs from indoor rooms to outdoor screens, with specials tied to jerseys, drinks, food and live music.
Game 1 on Long Island
One venue is drawing fans with 15% off the bill for customers wearing a New York Knicks jersey, while another outdoor viewing party starts at 7 p.m. with a giant inflatable TV screen. A separate watch party will launch Knicks merchandise T-shirts into the crowd, and one location is leaning on beer bucket specials to keep the night moving.
The schedule tracks the Finals calendar. Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs is set for June 3, and the Knicks will be back at Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on June 8 and Game 4 on June 10. For fans who are not making the trip into Manhattan, the Long Island options create a public place to follow the series from the start.
Nautical Mile and Bay Shore
One indoor and outdoor watch party is set on the Nautical Mile, where the setup mixes both viewing styles in one place. Another event opens with an open bar from 5 to 6 p.m., serving sangria and margaritas before the game action takes over.
Two other spots are pushing value in different ways. One offers happy hour deals starting at 5 p.m. with $11 drinks and appetizers, while another will show the Finals on more than 20 large screen TVs. Live music with the South Bay Trio is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 3.
Broadhollow Road Plans
More viewing choices are tied to specific addresses: 25 Drexel Dr. in Bay Shore, 1 Hawkins Ave. in Ronkonkoma, 1815 Broadhollow Rd. in Farmingdale and 799 Old Country Rd. in Plainview. One venue is also planning dinner, cigars, live music with Johnny Avino, raffles and drinks for a Game 3 viewing party.
That mix gives fans a choice between a quick stop for drinks or a longer night built around food and entertainment. The first test comes with Game 1 on June 3, and the Long Island crowd will have several ways to watch before the Finals shift back to Madison Square Garden for Games 3 and 4.
