Brampton Fire Sends Thick Smoke Over Pearson Airport

Crews are battling a brampton fire at a scrap metal yard near Intermodal and Goreway Drives, after thick black smoke rose from the property in Brampton. Brampton Fire and Emergency Services posted a photo showing the plume as it spread over the area.

No injuries have been reported, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said. The smoke was also visible from Pearson International Airport, putting the fire in view far beyond the yard itself.
