That setup gives the sequel a clean break from the first game’s cast while keeping the same pressure point: player choice still drives the outcome. The island setting and the Dead True premise also make this feel more like a reinvention than a simple sequel number.

Peter Stormare returns as Dr Hill, one of the few familiar faces in a project otherwise built around a new cast and a whole new world. That mix gives Firesprite a bridge back to the 2015 game without freezing the sequel in nostalgia.
