Arsenal Talks Open on £10million to £15million Jeremy Monga Deal Ben Jacobs Arsenal Transfer
Arsenal’s ben jacobs arsenal transfer pursuit has moved into talks for Leicester City teenager Jeremy Monga, with the fee being discussed in the £10million to £15million range. The 16-year-old has drawn interest as Arsenal keep building a younger squad after winning the Premier League title.
Monga is not a fringe prospect. He has been a regular in Leicester’s first-team squad over the last two seasons, made his Premier League debut in the 2024/25 season at 15, and played seven league games from April to the end of that campaign.
Jeremy Monga and Arsenal
Arsenal already have other young deals lined up. Victor Ozhianvuna is set to join in the January window of next season, while Ecuadorian twins Edwin and Holger Quintero are due to arrive in August 2027.
The club’s interest in Monga fits that pattern, and it comes with a clear financial fork. Leicester could agree a fee with Arsenal, but if the clubs cannot settle on a price, a tribunal could decide whether the London club has paid a fair amount for the forward.
Leicester’s Monga timeline
Monga joined Leicester at age 9, signed an academy scholarship when he turned 16 last summer, and that scholarship is due to turn professional on his 17th birthday on July 10. He also made 30 appearances in all competitions in the season just gone, a level of involvement that has kept him in the market despite Leicester’s relegation from the Championship.
His rise has continued on international duty with England’s U18s, where he scored the decisive goal in a 2-1 win over Greece U19s and also found the net in a 6-1 win over Cyprus. For Arsenal, the interest is simple: a teenager with senior experience, a looming professional deadline, and a price that may still be resolved either by agreement or by tribunal.
