2026 Mlb All Star Voting Opens With Braves Carrying Nine Players

mlb all star voting began Wednesday for the 2026 All-Star Game in Philadelphia, opening Phase One of the fan process. The Atlanta Braves have nine players on the ballot, and each team is guaranteed at least one representative in the game.

Braves Fill Every Position

Atlanta is represented by a player at every position on the ballot, giving voters a full set of options from one club. There is also a write-in option for players not listed officially, but voters can cast only one vote at one position per ballot for a write-in choice.

Pitchers are handled separately. They will be selected through a Players ballot and the Commissioner's Office, along with reserves, so the first round in front of fans does not settle the entire roster.

June 25 Brings The First Cut

Phase One runs until noon EDT on June 25. Finalists will be announced at 6 p.m. EDT that day on MLB Network, and the top two players at their respective positions will advance to Phase Two.

Outfielders are treated differently because three will start, so six finalists will move on at that position. Phase Two begins Monday, June 29 and runs until noon EDT on July 2, narrowing the field before the full rosters are revealed.

July 4 Roster Reveal

Full American League and Nationals rosters will be announced at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Fox on July 4. For voters, the practical move now is simple: cast a ballot during Phase One before the June 25 cutoff if they want a player from the early field to stay alive for the next round.
