Antoni Porowski Launches Best of the World on June 7
antoni porowski is moving from nearly a decade on Queer Eye to Best of the World With Antoni Porowski, his first post-Queer Eye adventure. The National Geographic travel series premieres on June 7, with streaming set for the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
Porowski hosts and executive produces the series, which sends him to Mexico City, London, Paris and New York City. That is the clearest line in his career transition: one long-running ensemble franchise ended, and a solo travel format now carries his name.
Mexico City to New York City
Best of the World follows Porowski through four places while he experiences different cultures and tries local food. He asks locals in each city to explain the history behind every delicate dish he tries, which gives the show a food-and-place structure instead of a standard celebrity road-trip format.
Porowski began that journey roughly three months after production on Queer Eye Season 10 wrapped in Washington, D.C. He said he “gets off” on the unknown, a useful fit for a series built around unfamiliar cities and meals rather than the controlled rhythm of a fixed studio show.
Queer Eye After Nearly a Decade
Netflix’s Queer Eye reboot began airing in 2018 with Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Tan France and Bobby Berk. Bobby Berk was replaced by Jeremiah Brent in Season 9, and Porowski is only in touch with some of the cast now.
That break matters because the end of the show arrived with public strain around the cast. In January, Brown pulled out of a CBS Mornings segment due to fears of bullying and said in a statement that he had been “mentally and emotionally abused for years.” A 2024 investigation examined allegations involving Van Ness, who denied them.
Jeremiah Brent's Farm
Porowski said he was impressed by Jeremiah Brent’s Portuguese farm, which Brent refurbished with his husband, Nate Berkus. “He did such a beautiful job. I know how much [he] is obsessed with preservation and attention,” Porowski said of the property.
Four months after the Queer Eye chapter of his life closed, Porowski said he is still left with more questions than answers. He also said, “I refuse to let however it ended be a distraction from the messaging because the messaging, I swear to you, was always real and always coming from a truthful place.” For viewers, the practical takeaway is simple: the next Porowski chapter arrives June 7, and it is built around travel, food and a much narrower spotlight.
