CI Games Debuts Lords Of The Fallen 2 Trailer, Targets Fall 2026

CI Games used Summer Game Fest on June 5, 2026, to debut lords of the fallen 2 with a new trailer titled The Battle for Thorngar. The sequel is set for a simultaneous fall 2026 launch on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, giving the franchise a wider day-one footprint than a staggered rollout would have.

Thorngar and Ysiguen

The trailer did more than rest on a release window. It introduced Ysiguen, a sprawling biome partly inspired by Asian mythology, with grand pagoda towers twisted by demonic forces and horned courtesans moving through the space.

Lingao the Souring Storm, a towering, lightning-infused dragon, also appeared as a defender of Ysiguen. CI Games said the game will be a “bolder, braver, and bloodier” evolution of its flagship franchise, and the trailer backed that up with a new katana-based weapon class alongside the previously announced scythes.

More than 70 updates

The sequel is being shaped by the 2023 game’s run after launch. CI Games said it built Lords of the Fallen II on community feedback and on lessons learned through more than 70 post-launch updates for the earlier title, which had sold over 2.5 million copies as of March 2026.

That sales base gives the new game a real commercial runway, and the platform list matters just as much as the footage. Launching on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at the same time puts the sequel in front of PC and console players together, while shared-progression co-op arrives at launch.

Steam and Console Wishlists

Lords of the Fallen II is already available to wishlist on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. CI Games is also relying on PLAION for global physical distribution and retail sales, while the game carries anticipated Mature 17+ and provisional PEGI 18 ratings and is not yet rated.

For players, the practical takeaway is simple: the trailer is live, the platforms are locked, and fall 2026 is the window to watch. CI Games has put the sequel on a broad release path from day one, which usually signals a publisher treating the launch as a coordinated commercial push rather than a soft PC-first rollout.
