South Of England Show returns to Ardingly with June 5-7 dates

The south of england show returns to the South of England Showground near Ardingly on June 5, 6 and 7, with gates opening at 9am and closing at 6.30pm each day. Organisers are selling advance adult tickets for £25.20 until May 28, before the price rises to £28.

Senior and student tickets cost £23.40 in advance and £26 after May 28. Under 16s go free when accompanied by a paying adult, with a £2 donation suggested for each child.

South Of England Showground

The annual show is organised by the South of England Agricultural Society, which supports agricultural education and countryside learning across Berkshire, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Kent, Surrey, and East and West Sussex. The event will take place on the society’s 150-acre showground on the outskirts of Ardingly, in the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

For visitors, the draw is a packed three-day programme rather than a single headline act. Agricultural and equestrian displays will run alongside international showjumping, heavy horse displays, equine and livestock judging, and demonstrations in the agricultural machinery ring.

Jamie Squibb Freestyle Motocross Display Team

The countryside ring will feature search and rescue dog displays and wood chopping, while forestry, falconry and fly casting are also part of the schedule. Live entertainment, heritage displays and craft workshops add to the line-up, and the Jamie Squibb Freestyle Motocross Display Team is set to headline the show.

Food, drink and shopping stands will also be on site, giving visitors a full day out across the showground. The advance-ticket deadline of May 28 is the clearest cutoff for anyone planning to save on admission before the standard prices take effect.
