Savinho Wants Tottenham Move as Tottenham Hotspur Midfield Transfer Targets Advance
Tottenham Hotspur midfield transfer targets have moved forward with Savinho wanting to join Tottenham Hotspur, while the club is also working toward a second summer signing announcement. Fabrizio Romano said Tottenham are on the winger’s trail and that personal terms should not be a problem if the clubs reach a deal.
Savinho and Tottenham Hotspur
Savinho was a Tottenham target in the summer of 2025, but Manchester City blocked his exit and later gave him a new contract for the 2025/26 campaign. That earlier stand-off is why his stance now matters: he is again open to north London, and Tottenham are back at the table after missing out once already.
Romano said, “Savinho was attracted by Tottenham one year ago, and Savinho is again attracted by Tottenham today.” He also said, “So, on player side, I don’t see big issues.”
Manchester City Talks
The deal still turns on the fee. Romano said, “Now, it’s on Manchester City and Tottenham negotiating, discussing, talking about the transfer fee.” He added, “Tottenham are working on the Savinho deal.”
That lines up with the broader timeline around the winger. On May 27, TEAMtalk reported that Manchester City are ready to sell Savinho in the summer of 2026, and on June 2 Fraser Fletcher reported that he is keen on working with Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi. Savinho’s representatives have also let Spurs know that he is interested in a switch to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Marcos Senesi Next
Tottenham’s transfer activity is not stopping at Savinho. Romano said the club plan to officially confirm the arrival of defender Marcos Senesi after announcing Andy Robertson as their first summer signing, putting two more names into the same transfer picture.
For Tottenham, the immediate step is the negotiation itself. Savinho’s side is already aligned, and the remaining question is whether Tottenham and Manchester City can bridge the gap before the club turns to that second announcement.
