Chev Clarke Faces Jack Massey in Zuffa Boxing 07 Debut

Chev Clarke meets jack massey on Saturday at Bournemouth International Centre in the co-main event of Zuffa Boxing 07. The bout gives Clarke his first chance to make a mark on the Zuffa Boxing stage after a stop-start stretch that included back-to-back decision losses and a December 2025 win in Stockton, California.

Clarke's Zuffa Boxing debut

Clarke said the assignment is simple: deliver. We're here now, it starts on Saturday, and I’ve just got to deliver. He also said he has to show what he can do on a new stage, and that he has prepared tirelessly, ticked all the boxes, and wants to be victorious in spectacular fashion.

The cruiserweight turned professional at 31 after an amateur career that included the English National Championships, European silver and Commonwealth Games bronze. He also represented Team GB at the 2020 Olympic Games, then went 10-0 in two and a half years while collecting international and British titles. That run stalled before the December return to winning ways.

Massey brings world-title experience

Massey arrives with a different kind of resume. He fought Zuffa Boxing cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia for a world title in 2024 and lost, but has since returned to winning form. Clarke called him another opponent, somebody that's in my way of providing for my family, making me advance and achieving what I should be achieving.

That matchup puts a debuting Zuffa fighter opposite an opponent who has already gone the championship distance at this level. Clarke said the fight is another test, adding that everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth, so the job is to adjust on the night, execute, and deliver what he has been practicing.

Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday

The setting is fixed, and so is the pressure. Clarke steps into the co-main event at Bournemouth International Centre looking for a first impression that matches the promise of his amateur record and early professional surge. Massey brings the cleaner recent form and the world-title experience, while Clarke brings the harder question: whether a fresh promotional platform becomes the place where he resets his momentum.
