San Antonio Temps Rise Into the Mid-90s by Friday and Saturday

San Antonio temps are set to climb back toward typical June heat this week, with Friday and Saturday likely bringing the hottest weather. Sunday starts mild and muggy across South Texas, but the pattern turns drier and hotter as high pressure builds over Texas.

San Antonio has taken in 16.27 inches of rain since the start of April, and the forecast now points the other way. Rain chances on Sunday are only 10% to 20%, with highs in the upper 80s and feels-like temperatures in the upper 90s to 100 degrees.

San Antonio Sunday Forecast

Sunday morning lows are expected to hover in the mid-70s under mostly cloudy skies. By Monday, San Antonio highs should reach around 90 degrees, with feels-like temperatures likely to push 101 degrees and rain chances near 20%.

That shift marks the start of a hotter stretch across South Texas. From Tuesday through Thursday, San Antonio highs are expected to top out at 91 to 92 degrees, while morning lows settle in the mid-75s each day.

Friday And Saturday Heat

The hottest weather of the week is expected by Friday and Saturday, when San Antonio highs will likely rise into the mid-90s. Feels-like temperatures could push 104 degrees, making the late-week stretch the most intense part of the forecast.

Weather models suggest high pressure will likely weaken by early next week, opening the door for the next chance of widespread rainfall during the June 14-17 timeframe. That period could also bring isolated flash flooding, which gives South Texas a second weather problem even after the drier, hotter pattern settles in.
