Pierre Gasly Loses Monaco Podium in 2026 F1 Monaco Penalty Results

Pierre Gasly finished third at the 2026 f1 monaco penalty results round-up before two five-second pit-lane speeding penalties dropped him to seventh at the Monaco Grand Prix. Alpine’s appeal for a Right of Review now sits alongside a final classification that changed after the flag.

Gasly’s P3 turned into P7

Gasly crossed the line in P3 for Alpine in the 78-lap encounter, then lost both five-second penalties for speeding in the pit lane. The stewards applied the pair of penalties after the race, and his final result fell to P7.

That change removed Alpine from the podium in a race where the difference between P3 and P7 was decided off the road rather than on it. Gasly said he was “heartbroken” after missing out on the podium.

Perez, Russell, and Hulkenberg

Sergio Perez was one of several drivers penalized through the race. He pulled into P16 on the grid rather than P18, then received a drive-through penalty for being out of position at the start and later a 10-second time penalty for being out of position at the restart, where the stewards found his front right wheel outside the starting box. He also received a reprimand for making a practice start in the wrong position during his reconnaissance lap to the grid.

George Russell collected a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane, then a drive-through penalty after failing to serve the earlier penalty correctly. Nico Hulkenberg picked up a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision after tagging Carlos Sainz at the hairpin.

Antonelli wins, Hamilton keeps P2

Kimi Antonelli won the Monaco Grand Prix and called the race “incredible.” Lewis Hamilton received a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, but the stewards took no further action in his Safety Car infringement investigation and he kept P2. Franco Colapinto also served a five-second time penalty for speeding in the pit lane, while the stewards took no further action in his alleged collision with Carlos Sainz.

The penalty list changed several results after the finish, with Gasly’s demotion the sharpest swing in the order. Alpine’s Right of Review keeps the post-race process alive, but the classification already shows how quickly a podium can disappear once the stewards post their decisions.
