PGA TOUR releases Canadian Open 2026 field at TPC Toronto
The PGA TOUR released the canadian open 2026 field for the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley's North Course. The list shows who made it in through priority ranking, exemptions and qualifying routes, with field sizes allowed to vary by event.
TPC Toronto field release
This is a field list, not a tournament recap, and the entry pathways tell the story as much as the names do. Fully exempt PGA TOUR members are guaranteed spots in full-field events, while other players reach the start list through categories tied to the current season’s Priority Ranking.
The release also includes exemption and qualifying categories, plus reshuffle notation for players whose status changed after a reshuffle period. Some categories were granted an extra year of eligibility because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Morikawa, Clark, Hovland
Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa are both listed as winners of the PGA Championship and U.S. Open Championship, putting two major champions in the field. Sam Burns is listed as a winner of a World Golf Championship event, while Viktor Hovland arrives with wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard, the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and The Genesis Invitational.
Ryan Fox is listed as a tournament winner in the past two seasons, a line that fits the form he brings into the event. The field also includes Corey Conners and Denny McCarthy in the Top 70 on the prior years’ FedExCup points list, along with Rico Hoey in the Top 100 on the prior season’s FedExCup Fall points list.
Hadwin and qualifying routes
Adam Hadwin is listed as a sponsor exemption, giving the Canadian a direct route into the event at TPC Toronto. Alex Noren is listed among the leading 10 players from the prior season’s DP World Tour, Johnny Keefer is in the Top 20 on the prior season’s Korn Ferry Tour Points List, A.J. Ewart is among the top five from PGA TOUR Q-School, and Luke Clanton is listed under PGA TOUR University.
Jackson Suber and Jesper Svensson are also in the field through the Top 10 and ties from the previous event. For readers tracking entry rules, the release lays out exactly how the PGA TOUR sorts the field: by priority ranking first, then by the exemption and qualifying categories that fill the remaining spots.
