Alaric Jackson Arrested on Suspicion of Felony Domestic Violence

Alaric Jackson was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence on Monday night after officers responded to a radio call of a battery domestic investigation near a residence in West Hills. The Rams offensive lineman was later booked and released on bond Tuesday morning.

West Hills Arrest

An LAPD spokesperson said officers went to the West Hills residence after the call, and during the investigation Jackson was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic violence. He was officially booked at 4:24 a.m. on Tuesday on a felony domestic violence charge, then released at 7:20 a.m. on a $50,000 bond.

The department said the case will be submitted to the LA County District Attorney’s Office for filing considerations. That leaves the next decision with prosecutors after a rapid overnight sequence that moved from the street response to booking and then to release on bond.

Jackson's Rams Role

The arrest lands on a player the Rams committed to in March 2025, when Jackson signed a three-year, $57 million contract extension that reportedly included $37 million in guarantees. He started 16 games for the Rams in 2025 and played in all three of the team’s playoff matchups.

That contract places the case in sharper view for the Rams because Jackson is not a fringe piece. He has been a full-time starter since 2023 after first making starts for the team in 2022.

Jane Doe Lawsuit

The criminal case comes with another unresolved matter already on Jackson’s record. In November 2025, a woman identified in court documents as Jane Doe filed a civil lawsuit accusing him of recording her without her consent during sex and lying about deleting the video.

Court records show that civil matter remains ongoing, with a case management conference slated for July 30. Victim confidentiality requirements related to domestic violence cases prevented further information from being released, leaving the district attorney’s filing review as the immediate next step in the new case.
