Claudia Doumit Signs With Verve After The Boys Run
Claudia Doumit has signed with Verve for representation, adding another layer to an already busy career that spans television, film and games. The move comes while she continues to be represented by Cultivate, Origin PR and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
The Boys to Soulm8te
Doumit played Victoria Neuman on Amazon's The Boys, joining in its second season and staying through Season 4. She also appeared as Victoria Neuman in the sister series Gen V, which kept her attached to one of streaming's most visible genre franchises.
Her screen slate extends beyond that world. Doumit is set to appear in the Netflix series Three Body Problem as Captain Van Rijn, a role tied to humanity's defenses against an imminent alien threat. She will also star in Atomic Monster and Blumhouse's Soulm8te, a spinoff of M3GAN.
SXSW and Summer Game Fest
Earlier this year, Doumit starred in The Fox, which premiered at SXSW. That keeps her in the film lane as she adds another representation shop, a practical move for an actor balancing television, features and voice or game work.
She also starred in Netflix's Dude, played Jiya Marri on NBC's Timeless, and appeared in Scandal, Supergirl and Secret Level. Doumit earned praise for Farah Karim in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and at Summer Game Fest it was announced that she will play the lead character in Crossfire, the debut title of That's No Moon Entertainment.
The Verve signing fits an actor whose work is spread across franchises rather than one lane. With The Boys behind her and Crossfire, Three Body Problem and Soulm8te ahead, the new agency relationship gives her another point of leverage as those projects move from announcement to screen.
