LH459 and Logan International Airport

The flight left San Francisco with 508 people aboard and later shifted south toward Chicago from Manitoba before heading to Boston. That route change pulled a long-haul international flight away from Munich and into an unscheduled stop at Logan International Airport.

The woman’s luggage was removed from the plane after landing. Lufthansa said the incident is under investigation, which leaves the airline handling the immediate disruption while investigators examine what happened onboard.
