Brandon Holveck Lists $18.58 Beer at Philadelphia Stadium

Lincoln Financial Field opened its World Cup pricing with American beer at $18.58 and jerseys at $130 for the first match in philadelphia stadium. The stadium’s menu leaned on familiar game-day items, but the posted numbers gave fans a cleaner view of what a major event costs at the gate.

Ivory Coast Ecuador At Lincoln Financial Field

The first World Cup match in Philadelphia was Ivory Coast against Ecuador, and the concession list ran through the same concourse setup fans know from Eagles games and concerts. FIFA’s restrictions on brand names outside its official sponsors changed some item names, including Chickie and Pete’s crabfries being sold as seasoned fries at the Chickie booths throughout the stadium.

That naming wrinkle did not change the bill. Seasoned fries were $19.93, a cheesesteak from Tony Luke’s was $22.67, and roast pork also cost $22.67. Boneless wings were priced at $20.57, wings were $20.57, and brisket or chipotle chicken tacos were $20.51.

Beer And Water Prices

Drinks pushed the total higher. A standard American beer around the stadium cost $18.58 for a tall boy, while craft beers, imported beers, non-alcoholic beers and hard seltzers were $20.85. Water at concession stands was $6.99, though fans were allowed to bring in one sealed, disposable water bottle.

The merchandise side was just as direct. Most T-shirts cost $45. Hats were listed at $45 or $50, with some priced at $30. Official jerseys for the U.S., Ecuador and the Ivory Coast were $130, and the official match ball, the Trionda produced by adidas, was $200. Replicas of the Trionda ball were around $30, and a mini ball cost $25.

World Cup Prices At Lincoln Financial Field

Brandon Holveck provided the price list for the stadium’s first World Cup match, and the figures show how closely the event pricing tracks the premium side of a big event day. For fans heading in, the most practical takeaway is simple: the game-day staples are still there, but the checkout line will look different when beer is $18.58, a sandwich is more than $22, and the jersey on the rack starts at $130.
