Alex Links Fandango to AMC A-List for The Odyssey Tickets

Alex, a 24-year-old TikTok influencer, said fandango let him get around the ticket scramble for Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. In his video, he said AMC Stubs A-List cardholders can link their AMC and Fandango accounts, then use the subscription at checkout.

Alex’s AMC A-List Tip

“There’s a random tweet from Fandango that just came across my mind. And I need everyone to just lock in for like two seconds,” Alex said in the TikTok video before laying out the workaround. He said he had trouble getting The Odyssey tickets as online traffic spiked, then added, “I’m sorry, did you know you could use your AMC A-List with Fandango? I … what? Do you understand how long it took me to get The Odyssey tickets the other day? And you’re telling me I could’ve just used Fandango? And connected my AMC A-List with it?”

Fandango’s “True story” Reply

A screenshot in the video showed a reply from Fandango’s official account: “True story.” Alex also showed an X post that read, “I had no idea you can use your AMC A-List reservations with Fandango.” He then said, “All you have to do is go to your settings and literally put in your card number for AMC A-List. And when you go to check out any tickets on Fandango you literally can use your AMC A-List. Am I the only that didn’t know this, or…?”

2018 Account Linking

Box Office Pro said AMC Stubs A-List members have been able to link their accounts for ticket purchases and reservations through Fandango and Atom since as early as 2018. That makes Alex’s clip less a new feature reveal than a reminder of an existing route that can matter when demand spikes and standard checkout pages slow down.

AMC A-List Pricing

AMC Stubs A-List costs between $19.99 and $27.99 per month depending on location, and members can watch four movies each week. AMC says A-List customers get 5,000 points for every $50 they spend at the theater, plus $5 back for every $50 spent. For anyone trying to reserve seats for one of the summer’s most anticipated films, linking the accounts may be the cleaner move instead of fighting through a single checkout lane.
