Jess Wright Says Presley Survived Airlift After 3-Meter Bouncy Castle Fall

jess wright said her 4-year-old son Presley was airlifted to hospital on Wednesday after a bouncy castle accident. He was later released with bruises, ending a hospital stay that lasted only a few hours.

Wright said Presley was catapulted off the top of the bouncy castle and landed face down on a hard wooden floor from about 3 meters high. She wrote on Instagram Stories that the fall left the family facing talk of broken ribs, spine injury and worse during the journey to the trauma unit in London.

London Trauma Unit

Wright said she and her husband were blue lit to the trauma unit in London after Presley struggled to breathe and then passed out. “Presley got catapulted off the top of a bouncy castle high in the air & landed face down on hard wooden floor from about 3 meters high. A noise that silenced the whole party & will haunt me I’m sure,” she wrote.

She added: “To say he was in a state is an understatement as well as mum & dad” and “We were blue lit to the trauma unit in London & on the journey things were being discussed like broken ribs, spine injury & worse.” The sequence turned what might have looked like a routine children’s party into an ambulance transfer with a trauma assessment attached to it.

Presley and the Wooden Floor

Presley’s heart condition made the scare sharper. Wright said he was diagnosed with Bicuspid Aortic Valve when he was two, and she wrote that she and William Lee-Kemp were especially panicky about his safety because of it.

She also pointed to the setting of the fall, saying she would be more careful if a bouncy castle is on a wooden floor rather than mats or grass. That detail is the uncomfortable part of the story: the injury ended as bruising, but the surface and height turned a party accident into a medical emergency.

Jess Wright and William Lee-Kemp

Wright and William Lee-Kemp started dating in 2019 after meeting through her brother Mark, married in Mallorca, Spain, in 2021, and welcomed Presley the following year. Wright appeared on TOWIE from 2010 to 2016 across 16 series, and her latest post leaves parents with the practical takeaway she spelled out herself: she will be more careful about where a bouncy castle sits.

“Scariest day of my life. Have thanked God every day that he’s OK because it was truly horrendous seeing him in the state he was here & just before,” she wrote. For families hosting children’s parties, the lesson is plain enough — a raised inflatable on hard flooring is a different risk from one on mats or grass, and Wright says she will treat that setup differently from here.
