Lincolnshire County Council to join 141st Lincolnshire Show

Lincolnshire County Council will take part in the 141st Lincolnshire Show on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 June 2026. The two-day lincolnshire show, hosted by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, will bring together competitors, families, farmers, businesses and visitors of all ages.

The council said its display will join heritage, transport and activities from different eras of the county’s past. Visitors will be able to look at Roman roads, try a modern day digger, make a mosaic with the transport team, and take part in Roman drumming.

Lincolnshire Agricultural Society Showground

The 2026 show will celebrate farming, food and the countryside, with livestock and equine competitions, rural crafts, countryside ring entertainment and agricultural technology. The food court section will offer the best of Lincolnshire produce, while the show will also include new features alongside the return of much-loved attractions.

Lincolnshire County Council is joining North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire Councils on the heritage displays. That work runs across Roman, Viking and Victorian themes, with a Viking photo booth, a Viking necklace activity, a medieval banquet, and a section on food waste and how to minimise it today.

Viking Way Anniversary

The show will also mark the 50th anniversary of the Viking Way. Visitors will be able to find out about a new badge scheme for the route, while the Futures 4 Me team will row the length of the Viking Way.

Elsewhere on the showground, a Victorian Lincolnshire area will include a washroom and toys from the past, and a pop-up gallery will show photos of Lincolnshire in the past, present and future. Because it is National Year of Reading, libraries will offer activities and storytimes for children.

Traffic Updates at Lincolnshire Show

Visitors can buy tickets and find out more about the show, including the latest traffic updates and road closures. For readers planning a visit, the practical details are the date, the heritage displays and the transport information now being brought together in one place across the two days.
