Westside Road and Lawrence Lane

Police were called around 3:45 p.m. to the area after reports of the rollover. RCMP said an older grey Dodge Ram was travelling northbound when it drifted onto the soft shoulder and rolled off the roadway.

The driver was ejected and died at the scene. Two passengers, a 15-year-old youth and a 19-year-old woman from Vernon, were also ejected and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Vernon RCMP dashcam request

Const. Wagner-Michaud, with the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP's Armstrong detachment, is asking anyone with dashcam footage from Westside Road between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Monday to contact police. The footage may have captured the grey Dodge Ram before the rollover.

The investigation continues, and the request for video suggests police are still trying to pin down the vehicle’s path before the crash. Anyone with footage can call 250-546-3028.
