Dino Zoff has thrown his support behind the rumors linking emi martinez with Juventus, saying the Aston Villa goalkeeper would be a positive addition. The former Juventus goalkeeper said the Argentine’s record in England and with his national team makes the talk easy to understand.

His Premier League numbers since arriving make the interest easy to frame. Martínez has 60 clean sheets, 625 saves and five penalty saves in the competition, and only Ederson, Alisson, David Raya and Jordan Pickford have more clean sheets in that span. He is tied with Lukasz Fabianski on five penalty saves.
