Disney Plus Login Failures Reported

Down Detector logged more than 20,000 US users receiving error codes on Thursday evening, and 47% of those reports were about login failures, which indicates that nearly half of the reported cases prevented account access and therefore stopped subscribers from reaching profiles, saved queues and any in-progress streams.

Another 36% of Down Detector reports cited the app as “not working” and 11% cited server-connection errors, a mix that points to both client-side failures and backend connectivity problems and that Hundreds of frustrated Disney Plus users amplified through social posts complaining about app crashes and refused logins across the US; Disney Plus operates at scale with approximately 131.6 million global subscribers and around 57 to 60 million in the US, which frames how many users can be affected by even partial instability.

Disney Plus Help replied on X, "We're sorry to hear about this experience. Our team is already aware of the instability that's occurring and is working to fix it as soon as possible," and that message arrived while fresh reports of login failures and app errors continued to arrive, creating a live contradiction between the platform's remediation effort and ongoing user outages.
