Justin Bieber kisses Hailey Bieber as Knicks end 53-year title wait

Justin Bieber kissed Hailey Bieber on Saturday night as they celebrated the Knicks’ NBA Finals win over the Spurs, a close that came after New York ended a 53-year wait for another championship. Hailey, wearing a gray Knicks sweatshirt, beamed for the camera as the couple marked the team’s 94-90 Game 5 win at home.

The celebration landed only days after Hailey Bieber had been in the building for Game 4 at Madison Square Garden, where she sat alongside Tate McRae and later wrote on Instagram that she had “never been so on edge and unwell” during a basketball game. That night ended 107-106 in favor of the Knicks, a finish that made the final stretch feel even tighter once Game 5 arrived on Saturday night.

The timing is what gave the moment its charge. The Biebers appeared to watch Game 5 at home, then reacted like fans who had carried the result all the way through the series. The Knicks’ title ended a drought that had stretched back to 1973, and the city treated it like one: fans lined the streets, shot off fireworks, waved flags and cheered after the win.

There is still more to come from the championship itself. A ticker-tape parade down the Canyon of Heroes in downtown Manhattan was scheduled for Thursday and set to end at City Hall, giving the team another public celebration after the private one the Biebers shared on Saturday night.
