Tiffany Stratton is on the Night of Champions 2026 poster now, and the move points to a Women’s United States Championship defense against Jade Cargill on June 27. The card in Saudi Arabia is still being built, and this change could help shape how many matches end up on it.
Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill
False Finish reports that Stratton is currently planned to defend the title against Cargill at the PLE in Saudi Arabia. That gives the night a clear title match tied to the poster change, and it keeps the focus on the feud that has been developing on SmackDown.
Last week on SmackDown, Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab laid out Stratton in a three-on-one beatdown. Michin and B-Fab also defeated Chelsea Green and Stratton in a tag match, which left the champion with more ground to cover before June 27.
Rhea Ripley and the poster swap
The poster originally had Rhea Ripley on it, but WWE replaced her with Stratton because Ripley is dealing with a knee injury. That swap makes the change more than a design tweak: the event image now reflects the current direction of the card, not the first draft of it.
Cody Rhodes is also on the poster, along with Liv Morgan and Trick Williams, and he is scheduled to put his Undisputed WWE title on the line against Gunther on SmackDown tonight with Sami Zayn as special guest referee. If Rhodes also ends up defending at Night of Champions, the event would grow to six matches, which leaves one more possible title slot to watch.
Cody Rhodes on SmackDown
The next checkpoint sits on SmackDown tonight, where Rhodes’ title match against Gunther could affect how much of Night of Champions is still open for addition. The June 27 start time is 1 p.m. Eastern in Saudi Arabia, so the card has a short runway before the final shape becomes clear.
