Tommy Paul reached the Queens Final with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Ugo Humbert. The result sends the 2024 champion back into Sunday’s title match against Francisco Cerundolo.
Paul Back In The Queen's Final
Paul took the last step with control, closing out Humbert in straight sets and leaving no room for a late swing. He will now face Cerundolo on Sunday for the title.
The run carries a clear extra edge because Paul won the Queen's title in 2024 and missed the tournament last year with injury. Returning to the final after that break puts him back in position to defend a title he already owns.
Cerundolo Sets Up Sunday
Cerundolo reached the final by beating Brandon Nakashima 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-4. Earlier, he had beaten Arthur Fery 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 in London in two hours and 39 minutes, a route that showed how much work he has had to do to get through the week.
That final now pairs the world number 27 with the 2024 Queen's champion. Nakashima's own run included a straight-sets win over top seed Alex de Minaur, which made Cerundolo's path to the final look even sharper by comparison.
Queen's Doubles Semi-final
The singles final sat alongside the men's doubles semi-final, where Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara were scheduled to play Neal Skupski and Christian Harrison. It was part of the same Queen's live coverage and kept the day centered on the last rounds of the tournament.
For Paul, the next step is simple: recover and prepare for Cerundolo on Sunday. For Humbert, the straight-sets loss ends the chance to move one match closer to the title.
