Electronic Arts Ends Grid Legends Online on September 11, 2026 — Playstation Servers

Electronic Arts will shut down PlayStation servers for Grid Legends on September 11, 2026. PS5 and PS4 players will lose online multiplayer, cross-platform play, Quick Race, Dynamic Events, and leaderboards tied to an internet connection. The single-player campaign stays available.

Grid Legends on PS5 and PS4

Grid Legends was released in 2022 and was developed by Codemasters. That makes this a relatively early cutoff for a modern console racing game, especially one that still has a live player score of 4.02/5 from more than 7,000 verified votes on PS5 and a Metacritic average of 76.

What disappears after September 11

The practical change is narrower than a full shutdown, but it is still substantial for anyone who uses the game for online play. After September 11, the competitive and connection-based side of Grid Legends goes dark, while the offline campaign remains the part players can still load and finish.

PlayStation Store notice

The notice appears on the PlayStation Store, and EA has not confirmed any delisting plans. Grid Legends is not currently on sale, so the remaining near-term question is whether the game stays available to buy before the server cutoff or is pulled later without a separate notice.
