General Syrskyi was recently in Kostiantynivka meeting with his corps commanders as fighting continued across eastern Ukraine’s eastern front. The meeting placed Kostiantynivka inside the same defensive line that has absorbed pressure around Pokrovsk, Kupyansk, and Lyman.
Russian forces have made a public show of capturing major Ukrainian cities, but Ukrainian troops have been holding and counterattacking along several axes. Pokrovsk and Huliaipole
