KATSEYE Updates on Manon After 4-Month Hiatus, Says Do Not Rush Her Back — Katseye Group Update On Manon

KATSEYE Group update on Manon came four months after she stepped away from group activities. Sophia said the group will not rush her back, and that the door stays open.

The timing matters because the hiatus began in February, when KATSEYE said Manon would step away to focus on her health and well-being while the group kept scheduled activities moving with five members. That keeps the lineup stable for now, but it also leaves Manon's return open-ended.

Sophia sets the pace

“Because we did announce that it is about her well-being, it's not our place or anybody else's place to rush her,” Sophia said in an interview with Allure published June 25. “We want to give her all the time that she needs, all the space that she needs, and so we don't want to make any assumptions, set anything in stone.”

She added, “She really deserves that and the door is always open.” That is the clearest signal yet that KATSEYE is treating Manon's absence as temporary without putting a deadline on the return.

Manon, Weverse, and the reset

In April, Manon said in a DM to Weverse subscribers, “HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported.” She also wrote, “I'm happy and I'm healthy.”

That update narrowed the gap between the February hiatus announcement and the June 25 group response. For KATSEYE, the practical reality is simple: five members keep the schedule moving, while Manon stays linked to the group without a set comeback date.

Manon joined KATSEYE when the group was formed on Netflix's Popstar Academy in 2024, and Sophia's remarks suggest the current plan is patience rather than pressure. The unresolved question now is the only one that really matters to the group's full lineup: when Manon returns, it will be because the timing fits her, not because the clock does.
