Mountain Dew 5 cent bundles go on sale June 29, 2026, with 1,948 limited-edition commemorative can bundles priced at $0.05 each on TikTok Shop. The offer runs over three days and limits buyers to one bundle per person.
Each bundle includes a commemorative can and a 10-pack of Mountain Dew mini cans. Mountain Dew said it will announce quantities on Mountain Dew Instagram Stories at noon ET each day, giving shoppers a narrow window to track the drop.
Michael Smith on Mountain Dew
Michael Smith, vice president of marketing for Mountain Dew at PepsiCo Beverages U.S., said the release is tied to the brand’s origin story. In a Statement in the PR Newswire, he said, “Since 1948, Mountain Dew has been defined by bold spirit, unrelentless grit and ambitious energy – qualities that continue to drive the brand forward today.”
He added, “This commemorative can is about bringing that origin story to life, paying homage to our roots as an American Original and giving fans a meaningful way to celebrate Dew history.” The bundle is inspired by Mountain Dew’s heritage story and follows the American Original – Tasting Great Since '48 campaign launched in April.
TikTok Shop drop limits
The promotion’s structure leaves buyers with a simple calculation: 1,948 total bundles spread across June 29, June 30, and July 1, with one allowed per person. If the release were divided evenly, that would equal about 649 bundles per day, though Mountain Dew has not said the daily split will be even.
The pricing also stands out against the quantity. A commemorative product tied to a brand-origin campaign is being sold for five cents, but only while the limited stock lasts on TikTok Shop. That makes the first minutes after the noon ET quantity update the most practical point for anyone trying to buy one.
Mountain Dew heritage campaign
Mountain Dew was born in Tennessee in 1948, and the company has used that history as part of its American Original – Tasting Great Since '48 campaign. The campaign includes Big Spender, Hoedown, Cold Ones and In the Mix, all part of the brand’s current push around its heritage story.
PepsiCo said it generated nearly $94 billion in net revenue in 2025, providing the corporate backdrop for a promotion that is small in supply but national in reach. For shoppers, the immediate question is not whether the bundle exists; it is how fast the 1,948 units disappear once the TikTok Shop drop begins.
