Mega Millions numbers were drawn Friday, June 26, and no ticket matched the jackpot. The winning numbers were 5, 13, 30, 33 and 52, with Mega Ball 6, while the prize climbed to an estimated $489 million.
Friday, June 26 drawing
The jackpot had a cash option of $220.9 million. Players had to match five different numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 24 to take the top prize.
Mega Millions also uses a built-in multiplier that is automatically included at purchase and can increase non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. That leaves secondary prizes ranging from $10 for Matching the Mega Ball to $10 million for matching five white balls, depending on the multiplier.
Tuesday, June 30 drawing
The next drawing is Tuesday, June 30, at 11 p.m. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday, and in Michigan in-store and online ticket sales run until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
For players in Michigan, that schedule sets the practical cutoff. Tickets bought after 10:45 p.m. will not count for the Tuesday drawing, and the jackpot will stay in play until a ticket matches five white balls plus the Mega Ball.
