Trick Williams Retains Against Ricky Saints at WWE Night of Champions 2026

Ricky Saints starts fast

Ricky Saints jumped Williams from behind before the champion could take off his entrance jacket. Trick answered quickly, and the opening exchange set the tone for a match built around Saints trying to tilt the ring in his favor before the action settled.

Trick went for the Trick Shot early, but Saints retreated to the outside. Saints then took Lil Yachty’s kendo stick and acted like Yachty had hit him while the referee was not looking, a move that got Yachty ejected from ringside when the official believed what he saw.

Trick Williams answers back

Once the referee sent Yachty away, Saints kept working over Trick for a while. Williams still found a way back into the match, hit a Bookend, then got caught in the ropes as Saints avoided the Trick Shot and landed the Revolution DDT.

That sequence left the result hanging on the next exchange, and Trick made it count. He countered another Revolution DDT attempt and won with the Trick Shot, a clean finish after Saints’ deception failed to hold up through the closing stretch.

After the bell

After the match, Ricky Saints was going to attack Trick Williams, but Lil Yachty returned and the two teamed up on Saints. Yachty finished the post-match beatdown with the People’s Elbow, turning the aftermath into a second hit for Saints after he had already lost the title bout.

NoDQ.com posted the match highlight with the line, “Some lying, cheating and stealing from @starkmanjones 😮” and later followed the post-match clip with, “A YACHT DROP 😎”. The title stays with Trick, and Saints leaves WWE Night of Champions 2026 with the loss and the extra damage that followed the bell.
