FOX Sports has set its Fox Sports World Cup Round of 32 broadcast assignments, and John Strong and Stu Holden will handle the U.S. Men’s National Team match against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday, July 1. The game is listed as a primetime assignment, with live coverage beginning at 6:00 PM ET and kickoff at 8:00 PM ET.
The network framed the Round of 32 window from Sunday, June 28 to Friday, July 3, the knockout stretch that follows the group stage and puts the schedule on a tighter clock. For viewers, that means the announcing pair for each featured match has already been mapped out before the round begins.
John Strong and Stu Holden
Strong and Holden are assigned to three Round of 32 matches. They will also call Netherlands vs. Morocco from Monterrey on Monday, June 29, and Argentina vs. Cabo Verde from Miami on Friday, July 3.
For the U.S. Men’s National Team game, Jenny Taft and Tom Rinaldi will report from the pitch. FOX Sports said the broadcast will open with a two-hour pregame show from the San Francisco Bay Area before the 8:00 PM ET start.
