Tottenham Hotspur have asked for information on a deal to sign Martin Baturina, putting the Como playmaker into the middle of a summer chase that now includes Aston Villa and Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old Croatia international is one of the names drawing attention from clubs in the Premier League and the Bundesliga.

Earlier this summer, Como valued Baturina at €80m (£70m) if they decided to sell him. That price point puts any move well beyond a routine enquiry and gives Tottenham a clear measure of the scale involved before they make a formal decision.
Matteo Moretto said Tottenham and Aston Villa had both asked for information on a deal to sign him, and he added the line, “just like teammate Nico Paz.” The contact follows the same basic transfer step: clubs ask for terms first, then decide whether the numbers make a bid realistic.
Tottenham and Roberto De Zerbi
The interest fits a wider summer reshaping at Tottenham and Roberto De Zerbi. The club has already brought in Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka on free transfers and Jan Paul van Hecke for £52m, so Baturina would sit inside a broader rebuild rather than a single isolated move.
