Sky Sports announces 11 EFL TV picks for August and September

Sky Sports has the opening two months of the 2026-27 season mapped out for the English Football League, with 11 single-game selections shifted to new dates across August and September. The first move lands on 20 August, when Sheffield Wednesday host Bradford City at 20:00 BST.

That list runs through 20 September and covers a spread of fixtures involving Sheffield Wednesday, West Bromwich Albion, Burnley, Wrexham, Birmingham City, Wolves, Bromley, AFC Wimbledon, Stevenage, Luton Town, West Ham United, Sheffield United, MK Dons, Bristol City and Watford. The schedule gives supporters the broadcast date and kick-off time for each of those games, rather than just the matchups.

August and September in the EFL

West Bromwich Albion will face Burnley on 23 August at 12:00 BST, before Wrexham meet Birmingham City on 28 August at 20:00 BST. Those are the first three single-game choices in the run, and they all sit inside the opening month of the season.

September then stacks up quickly. Birmingham City host Wolves on 6 September at 12:00 BST, Bromley play AFC Wimbledon on 7 September at 20:00 BST, Stevenage meet Luton Town on 10 September at 20:00 BST, and West Ham United take on Wrexham on 11 September at 20:00 BST.

Sport and Local Radio

The slate keeps moving through mid-September, with Sheffield United against Wolves on 13 September at 12:00 BST, AFC Wimbledon against MK Dons on 17 September at 20:00 BST, Bristol City against Watford on 18 September at 20:00 BST, and Wolves against West Bromwich Albion on 20 September at 12:00 BST. Sport will have live text commentaries on all of the listed fixtures, while Local Radio stations will also broadcast the games.

The schedule is clear on the single-game changes, but it stops short of listing the rest of the televised picture. Additional Saturday lunchtime, evening and multi-game midweek matches are also being shown, so the opening two months are only partially laid out here. Fans who want the full broadcast map still need the wider listing, because this announcement names the moved fixtures and their new slots, not every televised game.
