Kai Cenat returns July 6 with first Twitch and YouTube livestream reveal

Kai Cenat is coming back to live streaming on July 6, and he is doing it with his first simultaneous broadcast on Twitch and YouTube. The stream at 8:00 PM EST will reveal the full roster of students and professors for Streamer University 2.

That makes the date matter now. Viewers who follow Kai on KaiCenat and KaiCenatLive have a set time for his first full return to live streaming, and applicants waiting on Streamer University 2 finally have an answer coming in the same broadcast. Kai also set the tone before going live, posting on X that he had “Missed yall” and that “Turn me up yall it’s time.”

The return carries extra weight because Kai stepped away from regular streaming in October 2025 after saying he needed a break from years of producing continuous content. He has still appeared occasionally since then, but this broadcast is the first time he is back in live mode across both platforms at once. During the hiatus, he pushed much of the Streamer University 2 audition content to YouTube and launched Kai’s Mind, a separate channel built around creative direction, fashion, and his focus on physical and mental wellbeing.

He has also been back in his streaming room at the AMP house, a sign that regular broadcasts are starting to resume. The official Streamer University Instagram account has already posted to applicants ahead of the reveal, which adds one more reason the stream is built around more than a simple comeback. It is a selection moment, a return moment and, for Kai, a way to turn months away from routine streaming into a single live event.

What happens next is straightforward: the roster comes out live, and the audience gets to see whether the break that paused Kai’s usual schedule was the reset he wanted. After months of partial appearances and off-camera buildup, July 6 is the night the next phase of Streamer University 2 becomes public.
